Mother's Day Special- Part 2 Saturday, 06.02.2007, 11:09am (GMT) I want my Job BackA mother got arrested on Friday night and by the time her family could arrange bail for her, she had spent more than 24 hours in jail. Now she was a Govt School teacher in Village. Now look at the case details and decide for yourself, Her son and his family were living 800 Kms away from The Mother. Even before marriage, son was working in a Metro and rarely visited his mother except on holidays. Mother had not kept even a single item of dowry or gift with her. Daughter in Law or masquerading woman was in her fathers house and Mother had no inkling of this arrest warrants. Law enforcement officials were pressurized by In laws to arrest only mother as she was a Govt Servant. Great speed when it comes to arresting hapless victims! Now the mother lost her Job or is suspended till the case is complete. Every reader will say, yeah that is the law.. then can not someone put some common sense into law is the law not for commoners. Mother is depressed and nothing much we can do about it except tell this story to woman organization to let them hang their head in shame due to their misplaced consciousness. Why Am I Tadi Par ?Let us look at this quick sketch. Son and In law wife are settled in USA right after marriage for umpteen number of years. One fine day, a complaint by fax or remotely is lodged in Indian CAW cells. There are only one accused, the son. CAW cells drags on for 6 months, neither the accused comes nor the complainant. Mother and father are assured, don’t worry there is no case against you and your son in US and complainant also in US, so carry on. Suddenly, one night, complainant comes to India, gets mother and father arrested and returns back to USA. Mission accomplished with any impossibility. Mother spends 21 days in before another son could fly from 800 miles while other son 6000 miles away just simmers in agony. Now Mother is barred from leaving the city from so many years. Don’t ask us, under what section, there are so many confusing and self contradictory sections but what matters is why Mothers are being targeted so shamelessly. You just became a Widow, so 13 days are over now, come to Police station Mamma…. Another mother lost her husband just right after the first date in CAW Cell of heart attack. While the family was grieving, machinery in CAW cell was putting date after dates. So when widowed mother and tonsured son went to Police station after 20 days, first question they got from Masquerader was” Why are you coming late, you are allowed 13 days for grieving under Hindu Law.”
Great law lessons but this is not Hindu law. Mother still grieves even after three years, she had to face utmost abuses in CAW cell and irony is, Masquerader says “I want to stay in your house with you and your husband was a old man, 58, so he died so what” in the same breath.
And law enforcement agencies mentally torture the son for not taking the wife home. Son says Masqueraders are not wives under any section of Basic Human Law. It is the Basic Human Law that we will and we must implement in certain sections of HMA or we will continue facing this anarchy of Legal terrorism without an iota of remorse from Masquerading Women.
