India has always taken extreme pride in its family values, ethics and strong traditions. Our close knit family structure has been acknowledged by foreigners and our own intellectuals alike to be the rock upon which our great nation was built.

Family was the foundation as well as the pillar which provided our civilization strength during continuous British rule and once we attained independence, most of the success stories in business and political sphere emanated from our strong family structure.

So our extended families allowed our soldiers to guard the border with assurance of peace at home. Extended families allowed our merchants and traders and professionals to tour near and distant lands with assurance that house or house mates will not run afar from them.

Family was considered the rock of our civilization.

Civilizations forms slowly and carefully, and once it is formed, it can change and be destroyed at any moment. Civilization is as fragile as an eggshell, and it has three basic forces that can destroy it:

Savagery,

Unbridled Power

Fear.

And 498 A does all that ruthlessly and has infected millions of families

So what has happened in last 25 years that has created such a upheaval in our family structure that everyone going for marriage and in marriage is so fearful of the unknown and known… Yes, December 1982 was the date when 498 A was formulated or came into practice. In last 25 years fangs of 498 A and DV act are everywhere. Everyone you meet on street have at least heard of one friend, relative or neighbour who faced this barbaric application of 498 A.

This law has single handedly destroyed the peace of so many homes. Maximum number of women are accused under this law. So one masquerading wife in law creates havoc in the life of sister, mother, bhabhi, chachi, mami, maasi of a man. So don’t be under any illusion that 498a is law for the women. This savage law is the most anti women law in the country or of the world.

So let us look again at, what can destroy a civilization...

savagery, unbridled power, and fear.

And 498 A and DV act does all three.

It is Savage, and it is acknowledged by 98% of Indian population, even Hon'able Supreme Court called it “Legal Terrorism”.

It is unbridled power into the hands of masquerading wife in laws ( calling them wife is insult to other wives).. so much so that these wife in laws have gone on record saying they derived pleasure out of making 10 people scared for life and how they are itching to put husband and relatives in jail….How inhuman and down grade will they get more…phew…

And fear is such….some of our brothers parents had never been inside a police station or court, there are thousand of cases where old, infirm, sick or even healthy parents have suffered massive heart attacks, many have died but do the savage law makers and savage wife in laws care ? They don’t even shrug their shoulders….. cry on India, all in the name of law….

So, Don’t Cry Alone Now, India..we are here…Civilization of this 498 A savageness is on retrograde..

When a human feel injustice, he/ she cries alone. Slowly a crowd forms around him. Some with sympathy some otherwise, but even the sympathetic ones leave after some time, so the human cries again and then he finds another human like him / her and they share each other’s crying.

With passage of time, they find another person who suffered the same injustice and then they cry together. Then comes another and they discover laughing to fight away the ongoing pain.

Counting goes on, crying members come, they share, they laugh, they anguish, they get angry and they learn to channelise their anger..........and then they decide and want that whatever happened to them should not happen to others at this alarming rate and they want to end that savagery. It is with this mission to bring an end to savageness and barbaric provision of these laws, we roll out your SIF Times.

What is true for the world is true for Family Too. If MWs wanted to save their families, they should not have resorted to barbaric force on law in Name of 498A. Period.
